A global gas-equipment manufacturer needed connected meters that could bill accurately, enforce prepaid balances, and control valves across a distributed fleet. Battery life had to be measured in years.

Radio economics, decided with numbers
NB-IoT, BLE, and LoRa were compared through power budget, gateway cost, recurring fees, and the actual bill of materials.
AWS IoT Core pipeline
Topics feed the Rules Engine, analytics, and storage, with InfiIoT twins on top. The production data path has operated since December 2022.
Prepaid & postpaid billing
Balance, recharge, and invoicing use the same meter record as the consumption data.
Remote valve control
Authorised disconnect and reconnect commands run from the console with confirmation from the field device.
Figures are recorded outcomes or project targets. The status label identifies reference architectures and proposals.
